2 Cool 4 School

Despite having the "meanest teacher in the school" (thanks neighbor kid). S has been loving 1st grade. She even got an award for being so great. And we have learned that her teacher is only mean to bad kids, S is not a bad kid. In fact she made the Raptor Honor Roll. She was nominated because she "is always aware of and respects the feelings of others. With her understanding nature, the people she helps know that they can depend upon her to do the right thing." She told me her friend sometimes ties his shoe laces together and then forgets and gets up and trips so she helps him untie them. And she doesn't laugh when her teacher puts chap stick on her nose after recess (it's dry in Utah?!). S always keeps us laughing with her 1st grader stories. We are so proud!
